I’m assuming this is not the original carb off this intake. The center carb has no hole to match up with this. It’s threaded, and enters the lower intake runner, it also goes to a hole that is open under the center carb. There’s a vacuum port on the drivers side under the center carb. I can fab up something to go to the drivers side header. My stock 390 came from the pass side exhaust manifold, but the tripower one is on the drivers side. Where did the heat tube come from on the center carb choke on the Thunderbirds. I am still trying to determine if there is a port vacuum on one of these carbs for my vacuum advance dizzy, but if not I can look for a mechanical advance dizzy. Question is for looks, or carb fuel levels, or both? I hope the flat Thunderbird intake works with the Galaxie, I know the Galaxie’s intakes were angled. I’m working on fabbing up a throttle linkage setup to get the Galaxie set up to work with the tripower, and get the kick down to work properly. I pulled the stock 44k miles 390 auto set up out of my 68 Galaxie, sent the C6 trans off to the rebuilder to freshen up, and want to install the 410. It has what seems to be an early 60’s Thunderbird tripower intake, carbs, linkage and fuel log. I was first in line of a long list of callers. It was cheaper than I was quoted to rebuilt my 390, so I snatched it up. I have picked up a rebuilt FE 410 from a fellow that was divorcing his wife and moving. Hi, I’ve really enjoyed this site of all the sites.
